yes, i too spent one of my recent-er lives trying to live amongst the Confederate
flag-bedecked barns of germantown new york (only after spending some time there
did such a sight jog the memory of seeing billboards soliciting klan membership
or something comparable, years before), and although not the impetus for my
choice of locale (george or the flag), wondered if perhaps we'd run into each other in a bookstore or buying a coffee in town...
