Jolie Holland Page Liked · 7 hrs · Edited · This is the second violin I ever owned. I used to play it on the street in my early twenties. It's favorite song is "Do You Know What It Means To Miss New Orleans." It's a Czech-made student violin from the 50s, the best violin I could afford at the time. This was the violin I played in the Be Good Tanyas. It's voice is imprinted on our first record, 'Blue Horse.' We're letting it go as part of advance album promo for the duo record Samantha Parton and I made. 20 days left in the campaign. I'll get the bridge fixed and put some decent strings on it before I send it your way. I fit that bridge to it myself with the coaching of my hero Stefan Jecusco, who made my rectangular violin. smarturl.it/sxx2wp
